IT'S MATCHDAY: Trophy Hunt Continues in Stonesfield!

Woodstock Town Reserves embark on the next stage of our Oxfordshire Trophy campaign today as we travel to face Stonesfield FC Reserves in the Second Round!

Following a commanding start to our cup journey, which saw us triumph 8-1 over Bodicote Sports Reserves in the First Round, the focus remains sharp as we head into a tricky away fixture.

Our opponents, Stonesfield FC Reserves, currently compete in the Witney District Division 2, but they have already proven their cup pedigree.

In their First Round match, Stonesfield secured a highly impressive 4-1 victory over Watlington Town Reserves, a side from the Oxfordshire Senior Division 4. This result is a clear warning that they are a dangerous side, particularly at home, and will be determined to cause an upset against us.

The management team will be emphasising the importance of maintaining our high standards. While the 8-1 victory last round was encouraging, a cup competition requires full concentration for 90 minutes, especially when facing a spirited, lower-division side playing on their home turf.
