Today marks a significant moment for the reserve team as they embark on a challenging series of four consecutive away games, a demanding schedule that will test their resilience and teamwork. Each match presents an opportunity to solidify their position in the league while also presenting unique challenges that come with playing on unfamiliar turf.

Currently, the team finds itself sitting proudly at the top of Division 3, a position earned through their impressive performances, including two hard-fought victories that have showcased their skill and determination on the pitch. These early wins have not only boosted their confidence but also established them as formidable contenders in the league.

As they prepare for today's match against Watlington Town First, the reserve team is focused on maintaining their winning streak and ensuring they remain at the summit of the standings. Watlington Town, on the other hand, is eager to turn their fortunes around after suffering a narrow defeat last week, losing 1-0 to Quarry Rovers. This loss has undoubtedly fuelled their desire to secure their first win of the season, making today's encounter even more competitive and intense.

Following the match against Watlington, the reserve team will continue their away campaign with a challenging fixture against Wolvercote Wanderers, a team known for their tenacity and strong home support. This match is expected to be a fierce battle, as both teams will be vying for crucial points in the league standings. Additionally, the reserves will face their local rivals, Bletchington Devs, who recently reached the finals of the Ivor Cup. This rivalry adds an extra layer of excitement and anticipation, as both sides will be eager to claim bragging rights in what promises to be a thrilling encounter.

Lastly, on the 4th October, the reserve team will participate in the first round of the Clarendon Cup, where they will face off against Bicester Park, a team that has recently transitioned to Division 4. Bicester Park has encountered some difficulties in their early matches, struggling to find their footing in the new division. However, cup competitions often bring unexpected challenges, and the reserves will need to be on high alert to avoid any potential upsets.

While a rest is earned on the 11th October, they then are away again to Div 3 new boys Quarry Rovers
